We specialize in upset attitude prevention and recovery from loss of control inflight. Our goal is to train pilots to recognize hazards and prevent upset attitudes. However, sometimes we fail at recognizing the hazards and preventing upsets, so we also train to recover from upsets safely and efficiently.
We take pride in safety, professionalism, and education ensuring that every interaction with us is safe, educational, enjoyable, and uplifting.
The primary goal of this initial UPRT course is to equip pilots with foundational knowledge and practical skills essential for preventing and recovering from airplane upsets. This course is designed to introduce pilots to the fundamental concepts, techniques, and procedures required for effective management of unexpected flight situations. By providing both theoretical understanding and practical experience, the course aims to ensure pilots are prepared for safe and controlled recovery from various upset scenarios.
Please note:
We offer both Initial & Refresher UPRT. If you’re interested in a Refresher course, please reach out to info@redemptionairacademy.com and our team will contact you promptly.
While 24 month recurrent training is required at a minimum for part 121 air carriers, we recommend an annual refresher course to redefine your skills as an upset pro. This will be a three day refresher for students who have previously taken an initial UPRT course with us. This course will give the opportunity to review previously mastered material while also mastering newly introduced material.
This training is available to those who fall in love with our UPRT course and want more advanced upset training. Aerobatics is regular recovery from upset attitudes and sharpens a student’s knowledge of aerodynamics and upset recovery techniques. These courses are typically one-on-one and booked for a three hour lesson.
