Redemption Air Academy provides Loss of Control In-flight (LOC-I) training with expert instructors who impart their extensive knowledge and experience, ensuring you are fully equipped for survival and safety in any airborne situation.
At Redemption Air Academy (RAA), we train pilots to effectively recognize, react to, and recover from these critical situations, ensuring they are equipped with the skills necessary to maintain control and ensure safety in all flight conditions.
This three day initial course teaches the fundamentals of how to recover from a Loss of Control – Inflight (LOC-I) incident. During this training we will provide pilots with the knowledge and skills to prevent an upset, and if prevention is not possible, to recover from an upset. We will provide training with an emphasis on awareness and prevention providing pilots with the skills to recognize conditions that increase the likelihood of an upset event if not effectively managed.
We will provide both maneuver-based training and scenario-based training until the student is proficient at prevention and recovery techniques. This course is in line with FAA AC 120-111 and while FAR part 121 mandates this training for all air carrier operators, this training is recommended for all airplane operators.
This course is intended for flight instructor applicants to gain the experience necessary to understand spins, apply the knowledge of spins, manage associated risks, and provide effective instruction on spin awareness related to spin aerodynamics, spin entry, and recovery techniques. Instructors will learn how to convey this information effectively to students, ensuring they can prevent and recover from potential spin scenarios safely.
This training is available to those who fall in love with our UPRT course and want more advanced upset training. Aerobatics is regular recovery from upset attitudes and sharpens a student’s knowledge of aerodynamics and upset recovery techniques. These courses are typically one-on-one and booked for a three hour lesson.
